17 Apr 2007 - Partnership with Strathclyde Fire and Rescue

Today, Chief Officer Brian Sweeney officially welcomed Trossachs SAR into the fold of Strathclyde Fire and Rescue. At a small ceremony at Fire HQ, Hamilton, Chief Officer Brian Sweeney and Asst Chief Officer Bill McDonagh welcomed Trossachs SAR team and set about signing the Minute of Agreement between both parties, with our Chairman Gordon Gregory.

The agreement sees TSART providing a 24/7 search dog cover for the 2.3 million people of Strathclyde.Mr Sweeney graciously presented the team with a Mercedes Sprinter van which will be used to convey search dogs to incidents across the Strathclyde region.
