21 Mar 2007 - Training Day

The team visited Ben Lawers on Sunday past in search of snow - and there was penty of it blowing around but too fast to settle The main theme was search dog training and refresher in winter skills - the day turned out to be searching in very little snow and insufficient to practice ice axe / crampons/ snow holes etc but a great day for navigation and working in blizzard conditions. Everyone had a great time, including or should that be especially the dogs.
