Trossachs SAR conducted an Induction Course as part of its six monthly core skills training day yesterday. Based at Park Mains High School, Erskine, candidates for enrolment as members underwent a comprehensive and challenging day's training and tests.
The Committee is pleased to announce that two people passed the course - Collette Harte from Langbank and Steven Ballantyne from Larbert. Both join the team as Associate Members and will undergo training over the next year which, if successfully completed, will see them qualify as Full Members.
Additionally, 7 members of St Andrews Ambulance, Inverclyde joined us for the day and underwent the course of ttraining also. This is the third day of training this unit has particpated in, designed to enhance their already very high first-aid skills. Well done to Amma, Karen, Ricky, Chris, Stuart, Susan and Willie for successfully completing the course.
