At the request of Fife Fire and Rescue Service's USAR manager, Trossachs personnel attended at Fife FRS HQ in Thornton Fife today to give a lecture on the use of NUSARDG search dogs.

Representatives of Fire & Rescue Services from Fife, Tayside, Lothian & Borders, Central Scotland, Dumfires and Galloway and Strathclyde attended.

Following the lecture, Meg demonstrated how she could locate casualties on open wasteground, concealed behind pallets against a building and underneath a workshop area.

Gordon Gregory drove Meg, Gigha and Mitch in the team minibus and Stuart Ballantyne gave the lecture and demonstarted how she works

Gigha and Mitch were keen to show their skills too - perhaps next time!
